My 3-year-old’s favorite phrase is “Hulk- SMASH!” What better way to celebrate his birthday than a Hulk birthday party. And no offense to anyone, but I reeeallly do not like the cheesy party supplies they have at the store. I wanted to create a Hulk invitation that was a little cleaner and modern.
I will apologize for the pictures- I didn’t set them on the right setting when I asked people to snap some photos. And you all know how busy and hectic it can get when you are hosting the party. And then my SD card kept saying it was full when I only had about 6 pictures on it. I asked my husband to fix it and he accidentally deleted the pictures I had taken. I did, however, want to document my baby’s birthday. He was all smiles and for those of you that know him that is pretty rare for my stoic child.
We enjoyed “Hulk Debris” and “Hulk Juice.” The “Hulk Juice” was Lime Sherbet, Sprite and Pineapple Juice. It was a hit! And the “Hulk Debris” was made just like Rice Krispie Treats but I used Trix cereal instead. The cake is the always favorite Funfetti. I just had to add the gumballs on top because my kids are obsessed with gum and I never get them any. I know, I’m a mean Mom. But this mean Mom also got some pizza! Wrapping some water bottles with Hulk wrappers tied everything together.
It really was so simple but the kids had such a great time! I sent the kids home with some “Hulk Popcorn” in a snack holder from the dollar store. I used my Cricut Expression machine and Cricut vinyl to cut the word “smash!” And I used these similar labels from Vinyl Wall Art. These are so versatile and easy to use for any and every occasion. My mantra from now on is simplicity. I have so much on my plate that I need to take it easy. Simple doesn’t need to be sloppy and I wanted to give my baby boy the best. I think he liked it!
