Preparing for vacation and getting back into the swing of things after vacation really takes a toll on you! Plus I threw my little one a birthday party right before we left…. I definitely needed that break. These mini breaks and vacations really speak to my soul. I love getting away from home and the daily routines that can drive me a little batty. It drives us all a bit batty to be on the same routine for that long- even the kids!
25 weeks down and 15 more to go. Baby is super active, especially in the morning and at bedtime. I wish I could have recorded Ashton feeling the baby kick for the first time. His look was of pure delight and amazement! Oliver always hugs my belly and Adelle kisses baby every chance she gets. I know they will take such good care of this baby. I can see the baby moving which is my favorite part about being pregnant.
I have had a really rough time sleeping. My back gets so antsy and it takes me hours to fall asleep. Lorin has been so awesome and giving me a back rub most nights and it helps me relax and even sleep through some bathroom breaks. I counted 17 times one night before I could fall asleep. Not normal! And I try not to drink after dinner time. I can only imagine it getting worse as baby gets bigger.
My normal shirts don’t fit anymore-even the flowy ones and my closet is looking more and more bare. I had to suck it up and get some maternity shirts to fit my growing belly and the warm weather.
Stay tuned for the recap of our Long Beach/Canon Beach Vacation and Oliver’s Transformers Party.
