Being in the third trimester of my pregnancy and being in super humid weather has left me no choice but to live in maternity dresses and skirts. I don’t want anything touching my legs and need as much airflow as possible! I’ve never felt so hot…ever. I really just want to live in a swimsuit. But that’s not super socially acceptable- right?
Last week, I went to an awesome blogger’s conference in NYC (Blogger Bash). The weather was actually pretty nice and not super humid. Thankfully, the conference was held indoors and the AC was blasting. While I normally wouldn’t choose longer sleeves and skirts in this weather, it worked out perfectly indoors- AKA I didn’t freeze to death like I did the next day. It even worked well outdoors because the fabric is so lightweight.
After 30 weeks of recycling through the same maternity clothing, I saw this floral flowy shirt as something refreshing and being able to transition with me as I got bigger as well as post-partum. It’s even stretchy enough to pull down when nursing and long enough in the back that I could wear them with leggings. I’ve had real issues with buying maternity clothes in this pregnancy because I don’t know if I will even use them again. However, I have no problem investing in versatile clothing. And this shirt was one of them. If you are looking for affordable, versatile and cute maternity clothes, make sure to check out Pink Blush Maternity.
